Frequently Asked Questions For Existing Customers (1) How do I update my credit card information? Please use this secure URL: https://www.bestdbf.com/ccForm.php (2) What is the link to my webmail account? (3) How can I use my email program to retrieve email from my webmail account? To setup your email program to retrieve your primemail webmail on our POP3 mail server, as well as configure to use our SMTP mail server to send email from your email client, click on the link below for your email program: If your email client isn't listed, please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and tell us which email program you are using. We will be happy to send you instructions. (4) How do I change/edit my forwarding email address(es)? For security reasons, you cannot edit your forwarding email address(es) - only we can do that. Please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with your updated forwarding address(es) and we will be happy to update your account accordingly. (5) "Blocked List Entry" doesn't seem to work in my Spam Settings? We have been in discussions with the GoDaddy webmail management team about this label. We feel it is labeled incorrectly. This feature is not really a 'Blocked List' but rather a 'Treat as Spam' list. Email addresses in this list (as This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or @somedomain.com) are treated as spam, not blocked as the name implies. It is recommended that you create a filter so that all detected (tagged) spam emails are automatically moved to their own folder; such as a 'Spam' folder. We can set this up for you if you need help. Just let us know. In the mean time, two future changes may be coming as a result of our extensive discussions with GoDaddy: 1. They are considering changing the name of the Blocked List Entry to Treat as Spam. 2. They are considering our recommendation to add a true Black List Entry feature to webmail. This would mean that email addresses added to this list would be truely blocked from your webmail and webmail forwarding. (6) My emails are being forwarded from Primemail.com but people are calling me asking if I received their emails - I'm sure I'm not getting all of my emails forwarded by you. This question comes up a lot. Here is what we have discovered over the years. First of all, any forwarding is done immediately as soon as it comes into our mail server - back out it goes into the internet email system to your forwarding address(es). If you receive a forwarded email and notice the time stamp on it is hours after it was sent to your primemail.com email address (maybe you sent yourself a test email), the delay was not due to us sending it out late. The delay is from the internet email system after we forwarded it. The path it must take to get to you can vary and it may pass through several mail relay servers. But what about the mail you never receive? In every case we've looked into, the problem was that the primemail customer did get the emails in question but they were marked as spam by their ISP and put into their spam folder on their ISP's mail server. But you say I don't have a spam folder on my ISP's mail server. To which we say yes you do, you just don't know it! In all cases (1) this is what has happened and (2) the customer never knew about the spam folder on their ISP mail server. So we suggest you check and/or call your ISP first if you suspect or know that you are not getting some of your forwarded emails. In all cases that we have checked out, your email was forwarded but just never got to your forwarding inbox. |
